Role Overview:

We're looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead and oversee the on-ground execution of exhibition stalls. The role is ideal for someone who can collaborate with various teams and vendors to ensure the stall is delivered smoothly and on time.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning & Execution: Manage end-to-end delivery of exhibition and event projects, ensuring timelines and objectives are met and track project progress
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with client servicing, design, production, and procurement teams to ensure seamless project handovers.
  • Vendor Management: Source and manage reliable vendors across services, build strong relationships, and ensure quality, timelines, and contract compliance.
  • Exhibition Organiser Coordination & Formalities: Coordinate with organisers to understand the exhibition guidelines and complete all necessary formalities, including design approvals, form submissions, and pass issuance.
  • Stall Setup and Quality Execution: Oversee booth setup across cities, ensuring adherence to approved designs, quality standards, and timely completion, while coordinating with vendors and addressing on-site issues.
  • Client Interaction: Serve as the primary point of contact during setup, addressing client queries and ensuring a seamless experience to foster strong, lasting relationships.
  • Problem Solving: Address on-site issues swiftly, ensuring solutions maintain quality, safety, and timelines, while keeping stakeholders informed of any changes.
  • Budget & Cost Control: Monitor project budgets, flag overruns early, and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
  • Documentation: Maintain project trackers, vendor logs, and schedules, while capturing learnings and feedback for process improvement.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in operations or project management in the exhibition or events industry.
  • Strong understanding of stall fabrication, materials, layouts and timelines.
  • A keen eye for detail and a strong sense of aesthetics.
  • Proficiency in project management software.
  • Ability to travel frequently and work flexible hours.
  • Excellent organisational and people management skills.
  • Strong communication in English and Hindi.
