Role Overview
The Operations Leader is responsible for driving operational excellence across recruitment delivery, workforce planning, systems, and financial processes. This role ensures that the business runs efficiently, meets client expectations, and scales sustainably. The position requires strong analytical capability, process discipline, and the ability to lead teams in a fastpaced staffing environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Process Adherence & Delivery Excellence
- Ensure consistent implementation of recruitment workflows and compliance with SOPs.
- Monitor delivery timelines, quality benchmarks, and SLA adherence across client accounts.
2. Reporting & Business Reviews
- Generate and analyze weekly/monthly dashboards on hiring metrics, recruiter performance, and client SLAs.
- Lead internal and client review meetings to assess delivery health and identify improvement areas.
3. Workforce Planning & Goal Tracking
- Align recruiter capacity with forecasted hiring demand.
- Track productivity, utilization, and team performance against business targets.
4. Knowledge Management & Audits
- Maintain centralized repositories for process documents, templates, and best practices.
- Lead internal audits to ensure compliance with operational standards and client requirements.
5. Cost & Vendor Management
- Monitor operational costs across sourcing tools, job boards, and technology subscriptions.
- Identify costsaving opportunities through vendor negotiations and process optimization.
6. Job Board Utilization & Optimization
- Track usage and ROI of job boards and sourcing platforms.
- Recommend optimization strategies to improve sourcing efficiency and candidate pipeline quality.
7. Systems Adoption & Data Quality
- Drive adoption of ATS, CRM, and recruitment tools across teams.
- Ensure data hygiene, accuracy, and completeness across systems.
8. Commission Computation
- Oversee monthly commission calculations based on recruiter performance and placements.
- Ensure transparency and accuracy in incentive payouts.
9. Forecasting Placements & Starts
- Forecast hiring volumes using client demand and historical trends.
- Collaborate with sales and delivery teams to align capacity and timelines.
10. Redeployment & Talent Retention
- Build and manage redeployment programs to retain top talent.
- Track redeployment success rates and minimize bench time.
Required experience and skills
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 15 years of experience in staffing, recruitment operations, or workforce management.
- Proven track record in leading operational teams and managing delivery in a fast-paced environment.
Technical Proficiency
- Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), CRM platforms, and HRIS tools.
- Proficiency in Excel, data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), and reporting automation.
- Familiarity with job board analytics, sourcing platforms, and commission tracking systems.
Business Acumen
- Strong understanding of staffing KPIs, cost structures, and workforce planning models.
- Ability to forecast hiring trends and align operational capacity with business goals.
