About Fuelled

Fuelled is a bootstrapped, profitable D2C fitness nutrition brand built in India. We make science-backed supplements with Indian flavour innovation at the core — Whey Protein, Pre-Workout, Electrolytes, Protein Bars, and a growing product ecosystem. We are currently at ₹1.1 crore monthly revenue, growing every month, and building toward ₹100 crore with no external funding, no investor pressure, and no shortcuts.

We are led by founders Viren and Rashmi Hariyani, who built this from a 200 sq ft apartment and are now scaling it into India's most trusted fitness nutrition brand. Our products work. Our customers come back. And we are ready to scale.

The next phase of Fuelled's growth requires the supply chain and operations function to be genuinely world-class — built on systems, not founder involvement. That is why this role exists.

The Role

The Operations Lead owns everything between the manufacturer and the customer's door. Supply chain, inventory, vendors, quality, warehouse, and the systems that tie all of it together. This is a full ownership role — not a coordination role.

You will report directly to the founders and lead our Operations Executive. Your mandate is simple: make operations completely founder-independent within 90 days, and build the infrastructure that supports Fuelled scaling from ₹1.1 crore to ₹5 crore monthly revenue over the next 24 months without breaking.

The right person for this role does not wait to be told what to fix. They see the gap, build the system, and close it. They treat every rupee of inventory like it came out of their own pocket. And they know that in a bootstrapped, profitable business, operational excellence is not a support function — it is a competitive advantage.

What You Will Own1. Supply Chain
  • End-to-end management of the production cycle from raw material procurement to finished goods receipt
  • Dual manufacturer coordination — managing timelines, production schedules, and delivery commitments across both manufacturing partners
  • Raw material and packaging material procurement planning in alignment with the drop calendar and growth targets
  • Building buffer stock strategies that protect against stockouts during campaign periods and major drops
  • Reducing lead times and building supply chain resilience as SKU count and order volumes scale

2. Inventory Planning
  • Monthly and quarterly inventory forecasting aligned with revenue targets, campaign calendar, and reorder cycles
  • Maintaining stock cover above 30 days at all times across all active SKUs
  • Building and owning the daily inventory tracker — current stock, days cover, reorder triggers, incoming production
  • Responsible deployment of the capital — right SKUs, right quantities, right timing
  • Identifying slow-moving inventory early and working with the commercial team to address it before it ties up working capital

3. Vendor Onboarding & Relations
  • Primary point of contact for all manufacturing and supplier relationships — this function is fully extracted from founder involvement
  • Negotiating and improving payment terms, pricing, MOQs, and SLAs with existing and new vendors
  • Onboarding new vendors with structured evaluation criteria — capability, reliability, quality standards, and commercial terms
  • Maintaining vendor scorecards and holding partners accountable to agreed commitments
  • Building a vendor network that supports Fuelled's growth to ₹5 crore monthly revenue without single-point-of-failure dependencies

4. Quality Control
  • Owning the quality control process for every inbound production run — sampling, testing, approval, and rejection protocols
  • Building and maintaining quality standards documentation for every SKU across all manufacturers
  • Managing quality issues with manufacturers professionally and decisively — remediation, credit recovery, and process improvement
  • Ensuring product integrity is never compromised under growth pressure or cost pressure
  • Coordinating with the product development team on quality requirements for new SKU launches

5. Warehouse Operations
  • Owning warehouse efficiency — inbound, storage, picking, packing, and outbound fulfilment
  • Leading and developing the Operations Executive (Amber) — building his capability, setting his KPIs, and holding him accountable
  • Maintaining fulfilment accuracy and dispatch timelines that protect the customer experience
  • Building the warehouse systems and processes that scale with order volume without proportional headcount growth
  • Managing reverse logistics — returns, exchanges, and damaged goods — efficiently and within defined timelines

6. Systems Building
  • Documenting every operational process into clear, actionable SOPs within the first 90 days
  • Building daily and weekly tracking systems across all operational functions — inventory, fulfilment, vendor performance, quality
  • Defining decision authority frameworks so the operations function runs on documented process, not individual memory or founder escalation
  • Implementing tools and technology that create visibility and reduce manual effort across the ops function
  • Creating the operational infrastructure that makes Fuelled's supply chain a genuine competitive advantage rather than a recurring source of friction

The 90-day test is simple: if founders can spend a full week focused entirely on growth, brand, and strategy — without a single operational escalation — this role has delivered its primary mandate.

Who We Are Looking ForExperience
  • 7 to 12 years of operations and supply chain experience in consumer goods, FMCG, D2C, or supplements
  • Has managed procurement and vendor relationships at ₹10 to 50 crore annual scale — you have been where we are going
  • Has built and led small operations teams — you know how to develop people, not just manage tasks
  • Has negotiated directly with manufacturers on pricing, payment terms, MOQs, and quality SLAs — and won
  • Has built operational systems and SOPs from scratch — not inherited them from a large corporate

What You Bring
  • A systems-first mindset — you document instinctively, build processes proactively, and create accountability structures that outlast your own involvement
  • Financial literacy — you understand working capital, inventory turns, and the relationship between stock decisions and cash flow
  • Ownership mentality — you treat problems as yours to solve, not yours to escalate
  • Speed and decisiveness — in a fast-growing bootstrapped business, slow decisions are expensive decisions
  • The ability to develop people — specifically, the patience and skill to make our Operations Executive significantly stronger under your leadership

What You Are Not
  • A person who needs hand-holding or frequent founder check-ins to make decisions
  • Someone who builds teams around themselves rather than building systems that work without them
  • A person who treats operations as a back-office function rather than a growth enabler
  • Someone who has only worked in large corporates with established processes — you need to be comfortable building from scratch

Why Fuelled

Most operations roles at this salary level put you inside a large company managing someone else's system. This role is different.

You are joining a bootstrapped, profitable brand at the exact moment it is ready to scale. The decisions you make in the next 24 months will directly shape how Fuelled grows from ₹1.1 crore to ₹5 crore monthly revenue. The systems you build will be the infrastructure that carries a brand that is going to become India's most iconic fitness nutrition company.

You will report directly to the founders. Your work will be visible, impactful, and consequential from day one. There is no bureaucracy between you and the decisions that matter.

And you will be joining a team that takes culture seriously — a team that trains hard, works with intention, and genuinely believes in what it is building.

If you want to manage a process — this is not the right role. If you want to build one — we want to talk.

Train Hard. Build Right. Win The Day.
