Operations Head – Job Description
Company: Prabal Motors Pvt. Ltd. (Authorized Dealer of BharatBenz under Daimler India Commercial Vehicles)
Location: Maharashtra (15 days Aurangabad & 15 days Nagpur)
Reporting To: Director / Business Head
Role Overview:
The Operations Head will be responsible for driving end-to-end dealership operations across Maharashtra for BharatBenz commercial vehicles. The role demands strong expertise in heavy commercial vehicles, operational excellence, cost control, and multi-location team management. The candidate should be flexible to travel extensively and willing to relocate anywhere as per business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead overall dealership operations including Sales Support, Service, Spares, and Administration
- Ensure smooth functioning of multiple locations across Maharashtra
- Drive revenue growth, operational efficiency, and profitability
- Implement and monitor SOPs as per OEM (BharatBenz) standards
- Manage service operations for heavy commercial vehicles (HCVs) ensuring high uptime and customer satisfaction
- Oversee spare parts inventory, procurement, and cost optimization
- Ensure strict compliance with statutory, audit, and company policies
- Monitor KPIs such as turnaround time, service quality, and cost efficiency
- Coordinate closely with OEM representatives and internal stakeholders
- Lead, train, and mentor cross-functional teams across locations
- Handle escalations and ensure strong customer relationship management
Key Requirements:
- Graduate / Postgraduate (Engineering or Management preferred)
- 10–18 years of experience in automobile dealership operations
- Strong hands-on experience with Heavy Commercial Vehicles (HCVs)
- Prior Experience In BharatBenz / Commercial Vehicle Dealership Preferred
- Proven experience in handling multi-location operations
- Willingness to travel (15 days Aurangabad & 15 days Nagpur) and relocate anywhere in Maharashtra
