About the Organisation
National Skills Foundation of India (NSFI) is a 15-year-old not-for-profit organization focused on building vocational capabilities and sustainable livelihood opportunities for India's workforce. NSFI works with rural youth, farmers and women entrepreneurs through training, value chain development, market linkages and action research across India, in collaboration with national and international partners in the public sector and civil society.
Role Overview
The Operations Executive will support effective coordination between the Head Office and field teams in project implementation. The role involves programme coordination, operational support, logistics, documentation, reporting and ensuring timely implementation of activities.
This is an Officebased role with regular coordination with field teams and frequent field travel.
Qualifications Required
Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Rural Management, Social work or related fields
Master's degree is an added advantage
02 years of experience in NGO operations / agriculture projects / rural development projects
Experience in working with rural women and youth SHGs, livelihood projects, farmer groups, rural value chains or field-based development projects, will be preferred
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate day-to-day operational support for projects
Liaise regularly with field teams to track progress, resolve operational issues and support implementation
Maintain activity trackers, MIS dashboards and documentation systems
Support planning and coordination of trainings, field visits, workshops and review meetings
Assist in procurement, vendor coordination, travel logistics and related documentation
Collect, compile and verify field reports, beneficiary data and project documentation
Ensure timely submission of reports as per donor and organisational requirements
Work with Finance/Admin teams on bills, payments and compliance documentation
Provide operational troubleshooting support to field locations
Ensure adherence to project timelines, quality standards and reporting formats
Required Skill Sets
Strong communication and coordination skills
Ability to work closely with field teams and rural stakeholders
Good command over MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote, etc.)
Comfort with digital collaboration tools and MIS platforms
Analytical mindset with attention to detail
Willingness to travel to rural areas when required
