Job Description
We're looking for a talented Operations Executive - Dark Store Operations
Incredible opportunity to work in the Operations team at a high-growth quick commerce startup to drive meaningful impact. This is a high-pressure, zero-handholding, unstructured environment, where no task is beneath you if it moves the mission forward. We move fast, we set a high bar, and we're not for everyone.
This is an in-person role at our dark store, and you must be based near Andheri East or Ghatkopar, Mumbai.
Role & Responsibilities
Oversee 2-Hour/Same-Day Delivery Operations (Inbound, Outbound, Inventory Management, etc) across our dark stores in Mumbai
Work closely with Zippee customers (D2C/Marketplaces/E-Commerce Brands) and support them in expansion/growth.
Ensure 100% success rate in Same-Day Fulfillment & adhere to dark store SLAs such as inbound, inventory management, outbound, manpower planning, rostering, training, employee engagement, vendor partnerships, COD management.
Hire, manage & motivate the dark store team (inventory controllers, pickers, packers, store captains, and delivery riders).
Weekly inventory audits, COD reconciliation, hiring, & MIS reporting to Management.
Help create a rockstar culture amongst the team to scale to profitability.
Qualifications
3-7 years of Operations or Warehousing Experience, preferably at Quick Commerce/Supply Chain/Warehousing/Logistics tech companies.
MUST have strong communication & team management skills
You must have hands-on experience using warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP, inventory management software, etc.
You must have a local network of dark store/warehousing/operations/last-mile delivery associates.
