Operations Executive

About the Role

Responsible for verifying air cargo transactions to ensure all applicable revenue is accurately captured, rated, billed, and supported by operational documentation. The role focuses on identifying revenue leakage, billing discrepancies, missed charges, and process gaps, while coordinating with Operations, Commercial, Finance, Billing, and airline teams for resolution.

Responsibilities

• Audit cargo shipments, AWBs, operational records, and billing transactions.
• Verify freight, handling, storage, screening, special cargo, ULD, and other applicable charges.
• Identify undercharges, missed charges, incorrect rates, and revenue leakage.
• Reconcile operational activity against billing records.
• Investigate and track exceptions through to closure.
• Maintain audit evidence and verification records.
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly revenue verification reports.
• Analyse recurring discrepancies and identify root causes.
• Support revenue recovery and implementation of preventive controls.
• Recommend process improvements and opportunities for automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• IATA Certifications in Cargo Reservation and/or Cargo Sales will be a plus.

Required Skills

• Microsoft Office Suite, with extensive use of Microsoft Outlook for communication
• Standard Spreadsheets (Microsoft Excel)
• Champ Cargo Spot (or equivalent), FTP Servers, Applicable ERP Suits

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with air cargo regulations, standards, and industry best practices.
• Knowledge of IATA TACT, CAAS, CRS, Cargo Revenue Accounting is an advantage

Pay range and compensation package

1-2 years of proven experience in cargo reservation and/or cargo operations, preferably in an airline setting
