Operations Engineer - Manufacturing Execution System(MES)

Job Description
- We are looking for a Senior Operations Engineer for our MES. This role involves taking care of all the MES Operations activities of the Core Fundamental domain microservices of MES Foundations Team.
- Should be able to take care of all the monitoring, analysis and troubleshooting of all production issues and High Priority Incidents HPI.
- Should have hands on knowledge in ELK, Grafana, Github, MSSQL, Rancher or similar Kubernetes cluster management tools.
- Hands on experience in Microservices architecture. Good to have C PLSQL query knowledge as well.
- Minimum Experience: 5+ years of experience in MES Operations activities Support.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all the MES Operations activities of the core microservices of Foundations Team.
- Focus on proactive monitoring, analysis and troubleshooting of all production issues.
- Take full ownership accountability of the Foundations Operations topics assigned.
- Setup dashboards and alerting using Kibana and Grafana whenever needed. Perform problem investigation and root cause analysis within project SLA.
- Clear and on time communication of every actions taken and also the overall status of any issues.
- HPI on call support 24X7 whenever there is a need from the project.
Skillset:
- Experienced in microservices architecture and MES domain knowledge. Hands on experience with monitoring tools like ELK, Grafana, APM etc.
- Good understanding of APIs, swagger, kafka, SAP S4HANA.
- Should have hands on experience of any IT ticketing tool like ServiceNow, SMT.
- Well versed with both Kubernetes on-prem architecture, Docker Mirantis.
- Should have knowledge on Github, MSSQL, Rancher or any Kubernetes cluster management tools.
- Good to have C PLSQL query knowledge as well.
- Hands on experience with Atlassian tools like JIRA Confluence.
- Should have very good fast debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Should be very good with communication skills and able to work with global stakeholders.
