Job Description

Summary:

Manage routing configuration changes and validate deployments. Support API traffic migration to a new Kong-based gateway. Provide 24/7 incident triage and escalation with a 15-minute SLA for P1 issues. Perform patching, certificate rotations, and compliance tasks. Contribute to post-incident reviews, root cause analysis, and runbook updates.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage routing configuration changes and validate deployments.
  • Support API traffic migration to a new Kong-based gateway.
  • Provide 24/7 incident triage and escalation with a 15-minute SLA for P1 issues.
  • Perform patching, certificate rotations, and compliance tasks.
  • Contribute to post-incident reviews, root cause analysis, and runbook updates.

Requirements:

  • To provide hands-on operational capacity for Company's Routing and API Gateway migration and to ensure SLA-driven support.

Required Skills:

  • Strong routing and API Gateway knowledge.
  • Incident response and troubleshooting.
  • Deployment validation and rollback procedures.
  • Compliance and vulnerability management experience.

Preferred Skills:

  • Code-level debugging and implementation ability to dig into logic gaps, trace issues through global data structures, and implement proper fixes.
  • Root Cause Analysis capability across complex/recurring tickets, with the ability to document findings in a way that prevents recurrence.
  • ECR/ticket management within SLA resolving critical tickets end-to-end with zero re-opens and zero regression.
  • System-level thinking understanding data flows across global structures, not just isolated component behavior.
