Summary:
Manage routing configuration changes and validate deployments. Support API traffic migration to a new Kong-based gateway. Responsibilities:
- Manage routing configuration changes and validate deployments.
- Support API traffic migration to a new Kong-based gateway.
- Provide 24/7 incident triage and escalation with a 15-minute SLA for P1 issues.
- Perform patching, certificate rotations, and compliance tasks.
- Contribute to post-incident reviews, root cause analysis, and runbook updates.
Requirements:
- To provide hands-on operational capacity for Company's Routing and API Gateway migration and to ensure SLA-driven support.
Required Skills:
- Strong routing and API Gateway knowledge.
- Incident response and troubleshooting.
- Deployment validation and rollback procedures.
- Compliance and vulnerability management experience.
Preferred Skills:
- Code-level debugging and implementation ability to dig into logic gaps, trace issues through global data structures, and implement proper fixes.
- Root Cause Analysis capability across complex/recurring tickets, with the ability to document findings in a way that prevents recurrence.
- ECR/ticket management within SLA resolving critical tickets end-to-end with zero re-opens and zero regression.
- System-level thinking understanding data flows across global structures, not just isolated component behavior.
