As an Operations Engineer, your day typically involves overseeing the smooth functioning of production systems and services, ensuring they meet operational requirements and service agreements. You will be engaged in monitoring system performance, addressing any issues that arise, and coordinating with various teams to maintain service reliability. Your role is pivotal in managing the delivery aspects of these systems, ensuring that operational standards are consistently met and that any disruptions are promptly resolved to support business continuity.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless system operations and timely issue resolution.
- Monitor system health and proactively identify potential risks to prevent service interruptions.
- Document operational procedures and share knowledge to support team development.
- Assist junior team members in understanding operational processes and troubleshooting techniques.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Investment Banking.
- Strong analytical skills to assess system performance and identify operational bottlenecks.
- Experience in managing production environments and ensuring compliance with service level agreements.
- Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders to facilitate smooth delivery and operational support.
- Familiarity with incident management and problem resolution methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate within teams and with external partners.
