Job Description
We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Logistics Operations Assistant to support our daily logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Operations Controller in planning daily transport schedules and assigning jobs to drivers.
- Liaise with customers regarding transport requirements and service requests.
- Apply for LTA permits for oversized vehicles and arrange CISCO escort services.
- Update drivers daily job records using Google Drive and Google Sheets.
- Prepare customer quotations and assist with transport documentation.
- Coordinate with customers, drivers, ports, and internal departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain accurate operational records and filing.
- Perform any other duties assigned by Management.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in logistics, transportation, or related operations.
- Knowledge of loose cargo and container transportation.
- Familiar with import/export procedures, customs requirements, and port operations will be an advantage.
- Proficient in Google Drive, Google Sheets, and Microsoft Excel.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Responsible, organized, and able to work independently.
Working Hours
5.5-day work week
Monday to Friday
9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Saturday
9:00 AM - 1:00 PM
