Role Overview
We are hiring an
Operations Associate / Operations Team Lead who will manage the
end-to-end order lifecycle from artwork readiness checks, vendor coordination, production tracking, and dispatch follow-ups, to issue resolution and workflow automation.
This role is ideal for someone who has experience in
custom apparel, POD workflows (DTG/DTF/screen printing), e-commerce fulfilment, or order management.
You will work directly with US teams, vendors, and production partners to ensure smooth fulfilment.
Key Responsibilities
Order Management & Fulfilment
- Manage the complete order lifecycle from receipt artwork validation production dispatch.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external print vendors (DTG/DTF/screen printing).
- Track orders in real time, ensuring SLAs and shipping deadlines are met.
- Update order statuses and maintain fulfilment dashboards.
Production Coordination
- Review artwork / print files for readiness before they go into production.
- Communicate print specifications, sizing, color accuracy, and production notes to vendors.
- Conduct basic quality checks on production outputs (print defects, alignment issues, color consistency).
Vendor & Partner Management
- Liaise with US-based print shops, fulfilment centers, and logistics partners.
- Follow up on delays, escalations, reprints, or order corrections.
- Maintain SOPs for vendor workflows and performance metrics.
Customer Experience Support
- Collaborate with US CX teams to resolve shipping delays, reprints, QC failures, and order exceptions.
- Provide timely updates for escalated orders.
Automation & Process Improvement
- Work with AI and automation tools (Zapier/Make/Airtable/Shopify flows optional).
- Optimize repetitive operational workflows.
- Document SOPs and continuously improve operational efficiency.
Requirements
Must-Have
- 16 years experience in custom apparel, print-on-demand, textile printing, e-commerce fulfilment, or order management.
- Strong understanding of order workflows, production cycles, and vendor coordination.
- Ability to work remote night shift aligned to US EST (7:30 PM 4:30 AM IST).
- Excellent communication skills (English written & verbal).
- High ownership, attention to detail, and ability to operate in a fast-moving startup environment.
Good to Have
- Experience with DTG, DTF, screen printing, sublimation, or garment production.
- Familiarity with Shopify, Printify, Printful, ShipStation, or similar tools.
- Experience using automation tools (Zapier, Make, Airtable, Google Sheets automation, etc.).
- Knowledge of artwork formats (PNG, vector files, print-ready designs).
- Prior experience leading a small team (210 members).
- Ability to build SOPs, assign workloads, and monitor KPIs.
- Strong escalation management.
