Operations Associate

AtumX is hiring an Operations Associate to join our team in Chennai.

Location: Chennai | Experience Required: 1-2 years

About the Role

We are looking for an Operations Associate to manage and optimize our day-to-day operations in a product/ecommerce environment. You will be responsible for:

• Managing day-to-day operations and ensuring smooth business processes
• Supply chain management, coordination, and logistics
• Vendor sourcing, evaluation, and direct relationship management
• Inventory management and fulfillment coordination
• Client/partner management and satisfaction
• Identifying and implementing process improvements
• Ensuring operational efficiency and meeting KPIs

Required Qualifications

• 1-2 years of hands-on experience in product companies, ecommerce, logistics, or supply chain operations(NOT IT services/consulting)
• Proven experience with vendor management and direct supplier relationships
• Hands-on experience with inventory management, order fulfillment, or logistics operations
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Proficiency with spreadsheets (Excel) and business tools (ERP systems preferred)
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, vendors, and priorities simultaneously
• Problem-solving mindset with focus on process optimization
• Based in Chennai or willing to relocate

Preferred Qualification

• Experience from ecommerce companies or product-based organizations
• Understanding of supply chain metrics and operational KPIs
• Experience with end-to-end order management or fulfillment processes
• Direct vendor negotiation experience
• Track record of improving operational efficiency and reducing costs
• Familiarity with ERP systems or procurement software
