AIF Opearations
Role Overview:
The Operations professional will be responsible for managing end-to-end operational activities of the Alternative Investment Fund (AIF), ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, smooth investor servicing, and coordination with custodians, trustees, and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Fund Operations & Transaction Management
- Execute and monitor fund-level transactions
- Maintain accurate records of portfolio investments and valuations
- Coordinate with custodians, bankers, and fund accountants
- Reconcile bank accounts, investor contributions, and expenses
2. Investor Servicing & Reporting
- Handle investor onboarding (KYC, AML, FATCA compliance)
- Maintain investor records and capital account statements
- Prepare and share periodic investor reports (quarterly/annual)
- Track management fees, carried interest, and expenses
3. Compliance & Regulatory Reporting
- Ensure adherence to Securities and Exchange Board of India regulations for AIFs
- Support filings with regulators, trustees, and other authorities
- Maintain documentation for audits and inspections
Qualifications:
- CA Inter / CFA / MBA (Finance) preferred
Experience:
- 3–7 years of experience in AIF / PMS / Mutual Fund operations
- Hands-on experience with fund accounting and regulatory reporting
