Job Description

This role is part of HPE Operations, focusing on supporting Aruba's supply chain analytics by developing and maintaining data pipelines, implementing ETL processes, and providing actionable insights to optimize operations. The position combines hands-on technical work with supply chain domain knowledge to deliver reliable and efficient data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Independently design, develop, and maintain solutions for projects, leveraging in-depth supply chain and industry knowledge
  • Analyze and interpret data from junior contributors to provide actionable recommendations for performance optimization
  • Build and maintain robust data pipelines using AWS Redshift, Lambda, Glue, Step Functions, CloudWatch, and Apache Spark
  • Implement ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources into data warehouses
  • Develop and maintain SQL scripts for data extraction, transformation, and loading
  • Write and maintain Python scripts for data processing, automation, and analysis
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver data solutions
  • Ensure data security and compliance with regulatory standards
  • Lead strategic supply chain projects from planning through execution, providing findings and actionable insights
  • Consult with business leaders to resolve complex supply chain issues and improve operational efficiency

Education and Experience

  • First-level university degree (Bachelor's) or equivalent; advanced degree preferred
  • 46 years of experience in supply chain analytics, data engineering, or related functions

Technical Knowledge and Skills

  • Extensive experience with AWS services: Redshift, Lambda, Glue, Step Functions, CloudWatch
  • Expertise in ETL processes, data warehousing, and pipeline design
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation, analysis, and automation
  • Hands-on experience with Apache Spark for large-scale data processing
  • Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and high-level modeling tools
  • Strong analytical skills, problem-solving, and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of emerging trends in supply chain analytics and data technologies
