Key Responsibilities

Shipment & Customs Management

• Make strategic decisions on shipments from client and Aptos locations ensuring smooth delivery to Solution Centre
• Resolve customs-related issues and prepare documentation (Form-A, etc.) for Customs Office

Network Infrastructure

• Define network requirements for rigs received from client and ensure appropriate connectivity
• Maintain seamless, uninterrupted operation of client network infrastructure and troubleshoot issues

Documentation & Asset Management

• Maintain meticulous lab documentation of all hardware shipped from client and Aptos locations
• Update lab spreadsheet with asset inventory, lab view, and technical information
• Share periodic reports with stakeholders to support customs submissions and compliance

Technical Support

• Ensure lab presence to remotely assist Quality Analysts and Technical Analysts
• Leverage hardware knowledge to support Professional Services and Product Engineering in projects and stories
• Provide technical guidance based on equipment capabilities and specifications

POS Hardware Management

• Install, configure, and maintain POS hardware (barcode scanners, receipt printers, cash drawers, card readers)
• Diagnose hardware issues, ensure functionality, and coordinate repairs/replacements
• Test POS peripherals for compatibility with Aptos solutions

Required Skills & Competencies

• Network infrastructure, connectivity protocols, and hardware systems knowledge
• Experience with international shipment coordination and customs procedures
• Proficiency in lab management tools, inventory systems, and MS Office (Excel)
• POS hardware installation, configuration, and troubleshooting expertise
• Strong organizational, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
• Strategic thinking, problem-solving, and ability to work independently
• Understanding of Aptos retail technology solutions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, Electronics, or related field
• 3-5 years in lab management, IT operations, or similar role
• Experience with customs procedures and supporting QA/development teams (preferred)
