About KashmKari:

KashmKari is a heritage-focused D2C brand dedicated to reviving and sharing Kashmiri artisanal craftsmanship with a global audience. We focus on high-quality Kashmiri art and a thoughtful, customer-first experience.

About the Role:

We're looking for an intern to support customer communication and daily operations. The ideal candidate is an Independent Worker, eager to learn, and has some understanding of brand communication.

This is a generalist role. Your main focus will be on customer service and coordination, but there's also room to contribute to areas like AI-driven workflows, backend operations, or digital and content marketing if that interests you.

We're also preparing to launch a sister D2C brand in the US and Middle East markets. If you're interested, there's an opportunity to be part of that project as well.

What You'll Do:

  • Handle customer support and contribute to delivering a strong customer experience

  • Assist with daily operations, including tracking pending orders and managing fulfilments

  • Help with uploading and updating products across the website and marketplaces

  • Support the execution of ad campaigns and basic marketing tasks

  • Monitor order timelines and keep internal trackers up to date

  • Assist with other operational activities as needed

  • As this is a cross-functional internship, you may also explore areas like tech, process improvements, or Digital marketing, depending on your interest and skills

What We're Looking For:

  • Strong understanding of communication tone and how it impacts customer experience

  • Has basic familiarity with D2C or e-commerce platforms, or is quick to learn

  • Self-driven, dependable, and comfortable managing multiple small tasks daily

  • Has a general sense of brand communication what feels on-brand and what doesn't

  • Open to learning and taking on responsibilities beyond the defined role

  • (Optional ) Tech-obsessed, with prior experience or strong interest in using AI tools, agents, or automations
