Role Overview

The Operations & Business Development Analyst is responsible for collecting, organizing, and analysing data to support operational performance and business development initiatives. This role focuses on transforming structured and unstructured data into clear, actionable insights to support growth planning, market assessment, and operational decision-making

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, structure, and analyse data related to operations and business development initiatives.
• Develop and maintain Excel- and Google Sheetsbased trackers, summaries, and analytical models.
• Perform desktop research to source, validate, and organise data from public and semi-public sources.
• Analyse datasets to identify trends, patterns, and gaps relevant to operational and market-level decision-making.
• Translate raw data into clear tables, summaries, and basic visual outputs for stakeholder review.
• Maintain data accuracy, consistency, and documentation standards across all analyses.
• Support ad-hoc analytical, research, and data preparation requests as business needs evolve.
• Communicate findings clearly and concisely to non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills & Competencies

2+ years of experience in operations analytics, business analysis, data analytics, or market research.

Bachelor's degree, preferably in accounting, finance, statistics, or a closely related discipline, preferred.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, lookups, data validation, data cleaning).

Strong working knowledge of Google Sheets.

Experience working with structured and unstructured data sources (e.g., PDFs, websites, directories, reports).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to organise large datasets and present findings in a clear, logical manner.

Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting tools is a plus but not required.
