Job description:
Operational Buyer (Procurement Specialist)
Objective of the position:
Ensure the supply of materials and subcontracted services necessary for the Company's operations, aligned to the optimal inventory levels.
Your main responsibilities:
Internal Operations
- Understanding material demand
- Managing item parameters in SAP
- Managing material MRP
- Managing purchase orders / planning / deliveries
- Managing material stock
- Ensuring material logistics in coordination with the logistics manager
- Delivery reporting to the rest of the organization
- Identify cost-reduction improvements throughout the supply chain
SRM – Supplier Relationship Management
- Ensure the Forecast update to suppliers, as well as analyze and understand it (Raw Material Availability)
- Lead meetings with suppliers, generate meeting minutes, track actions, and reports of priority parts
- Analyze and monitor on-time delivery (OTD) with suppliers
- Managing supplier production: monitoring progress checkpoints to identify future risks
- Identifying capacity issues in suppliers
- Negotiating and agreeing on delivery and recovery plans
- Ensuring development and problem resolution with suppliers
- Maintaining and discussing KPIs with suppliers
- To provide leadership across detection/analysis/resolution of capacity deficits and production/quality problems in the medium/long term on the supply chain (Monitoring of Recovery/Capacity Plans that guarantee component deliveries)
- Management and escalation of priorities
Who we are looking for:
- Education: Intermediate degree. Technical training preferred.
- Required knowledge:
- SAP, Excel, Outlook, English (C1 level)
- Stock management, logistics costs
- Manufacturing processes
- Industrial organization / production / layout / lean
- Analysis of a Load and Capacity from Suppliers
- Languages: Spanish
