Eligibility Criteria: OT Technician (Ophthalmology)
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Operation Theatre Technology / OT Technology or an equivalent allied health qualification from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience as an OT Technician in Ophthalmology OT procedures.
- Proven experience assisting in ophthalmic surgeries such as cataract, glaucoma, retinal, corneal, and refractive procedures.
- Knowledge of ophthalmic surgical instruments and equipment.
- Experience in OT setup, sterilization techniques, and maintenance of aseptic conditions.
- Ability to prepare patients and surgical trays as per ophthalmic protocols.
- Familiarity with microscopes, phaco machines, vitrectomy systems, and other ophthalmic OT equipment.
- Strong understanding of infection control, sterilization standards, and OT safety protocols.
- Awareness of pre-operative and post-operative ophthalmic care requirements.
- Ability to work efficiently as part of a surgical team.
- Good communication and coordination skills with surgeons, nurses, and anesthetists.
- Attention to detail, discipline, and ability to work under pressure.
- Willingness to work in shifts and during emergency procedures.
