About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Operation Theatre Technician (OTT) Faculty to train and mentor students preparing for paramedical and allied healthcare programs. The ideal candidate should possess strong subject expertise, practical exposure to OT procedures, and effective teaching skills to deliver engaging classroom and online sessions.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality lectures for Operation Theatre Technology students
- Teach subjects related to:
- OT Procedures & Protocols
- Surgical Instruments & Equipment
- Sterilization & Infection Control
- Patient Handling & Pre/Post-Operative Care
- Basics of Anaesthesia Assistance
- Prepare notes, assignments, assessments, and study materials
- Conduct doubt-solving and revision sessions
- Support students with practical and exam-oriented preparation
- Ensure interactive and student-friendly learning sessions
- Stay updated with current healthcare and OT practices
- Contribute to curriculum planning, assessments, and academic quality initiatives
Eligibility Criteria
- D. Anaesthesia / MD Anaesthesia / MS General Surgery / MS Orthopaedics / M.Sc. OTT / M.Sc. AOT or relevant qualification in allied healthcare
- Minimum 2–4 years of teaching experience in the relevant field
- Prior experience in curriculum development and academic planning preferred
- Practical exposure in hospital/OT setup will be an added advantage
