Job Profile

Operation of Crane & Container Yard:

Presently QAPCO has the following equipment working on 24/7 basis around the clock in CRANE AND CONTAINER YARD:  - LIEBHERR Mobile Crane (1 unit), - GOTTWALD Mobile Crane (1 unit), - NOELL and TEREX Straddle Carriers (4 units), - DIESEL TANK and DIESEL DISPENSERS

Provision of new Rolling Equipment by CONTRACTOR:

ONTRACTOR shall guarantee that equipment provided shall be in healthy condition and complying to QAPCO standards and requirement. CONTRACTOR scope shall cover full maintenance, certification, inspection, supply of spare parts (will not be reimbursable by QAPCO), consumables , etc, except diesel which shall be reimbursed by QAPCO at actual value as per Worqood tariff including transportation. For the sake of reference, existing QAPCO Jetty facilities is arranged for Straddle Carrier Operation with maximum height of container stacking (empty and laden) of 3 levels of stacked containers with 1 level on top for passing (total 4 levels). The following specifications shall be considered for the provision of the rolling equipment: Straddle Carrier:  Spreader hoisting 12 m SWL 60 mt

Detailed Scope of Work:

Store empty containers received from road for LDPE1&2 and sea for all plants on the designated location assigned by Administrator through YMS (Yard Management System) and update it through installed VMT.

Store laden containers delivered from plants PRODUCT warehouses (LLDPE, LDPE3, PVC) to the intermediate area for 3rd party (customs) inspection in case required.

Move the laden container from plant warehouse (LLDPE, LDPE3, PVC) (after 3rd party/customs inspection) to the designated location assigned by QAPCO's Administrator through YMS (Yard Management System) and update it through installed VMT.

Take empty containers of LDPE1&2 from storage and load on trailer according to instruction from Administrator. 10. Taking designated empty containers (80 containers of Dry 20 and 40, or NOR daily) assigned by Administrator from

Back-load damaged laden container to the plants warehouse by trailers.

Planning of diesel requirement and recording of dieselCONTRACTOR shall handle QAFCO melamine containers exported through QAPCO jetty without extra cost to QAPCO (deemed included in the CONTRACT PRICE). The volume of the export is around 250 containers per month. Each Melamine container size is 20 feet and each container weight is approximately 20 Tonnes. The containers received by QAPCO shall be stuffed with powder Melamine in batches of 50 to 60 containers for each vessel.

Quay 19 is designed for handling of the following liquid and bulk cargoes only: Liquid cargos:

1. Vinyl Chloride Monomer (VCM) – Liquid/Gas (Loading)

2. Ethylene Di Chloride (EDC) – Liquid (Loading)

3. Caustic Soda Solution (CSS) – Liquid (Loading)

4. Ethylene- Liquid/Gas (Loading and unloading)
