Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced OpenText XCM / Content Server Consultant with strong expertise in enterprise content management, SaaS configuration, and cloud-based deployments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in configuring and supporting OpenText Content Server / XCM solutions, managing complex SaaS environments, and integrating enterprise systems.

The role also requires expertise in Azure cloud infrastructure, Active Directory / Microsoft Entra identity integration, document migration strategies, and third-party system integrations using APIs.

Key Responsibilities

Design, configure, and maintain solutions on the OpenText Content Server / XCM platform.

Perform advanced configuration and administration in OpenText SaaS environments.

Configure and manage workspaces, metadata models, document structures, permissions, and workflow configurations.

Design and implement enterprise content management solutions that meet business and compliance requirements.

Work closely with infrastructure teams to deploy and support the platform on Microsoft Azure.

Implement and support identity and access integrations with Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID.

Configure Single Sign-On (SSO) and authentication integrations with enterprise identity systems.

Design and implement document migration strategies for migrating content from legacy systems or other ECM platforms into Content Server.

Perform migration planning including:

metadata mapping

document version migration

permission migration

validation and reconciliation

Integrate Content Server with third-party enterprise systems using:

REST APIs

Web services

middleware platforms

Develop and support API-based integrations between Content Server and enterprise applications such as ERP, CRM, or custom systems.

Troubleshoot platform configuration, performance, and integration issues in SaaS environments.

Support system upgrades, patches, and environment configuration management.

Collaborate with architects and enterprise teams to design scalable and secure ECM architectures.

Required Skills & Experience

OpenText Platform Expertise

Strong hands-on experience with OpenText Content Server / XCM platform.

Experience configuring:

Workspaces and document structures

Metadata models and categories

Security and permission models

612+ years of experience working with OpenText Content Server or related ECM platforms.

Proven experience implementing and supporting enterprise-scale ECM solutions.
