Job Title: OpenStack Cloud Administrator / Engineer

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced OpenStack professional to design, deploy, and optimize OpenStack-based cloud infrastructure, focusing on Ubuntu environments and Linux administration.

Key Responsibilities:

- Install, configure, and maintain OpenStack services (Nova, Neutron, Keystone, etc.)

- Monitor cloud performance and security; implement corrective actions as needed

- Troubleshoot issues across compute, storage, and networking layers

- Perform upgrades, patching, and backups with minimal disruption

- Automate operational tasks using Python, Ansible, or Terraform

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for knowledge transfer

Required Skills:

- 4-5 years in OpenStack administration or engineering

- Strong knowledge of OpenStack architecture and core services

- Solid Ubuntu Linux administration skills

- Experience with networking, storage, and virtualization

- Python scripting and automation proficiency

- Familiarity with Ansible or Terraform

- Strong troubleshooting abilities

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with Canonical/OpenStack stack or Ceph

- OpenStack certification (e.g., COA)

- Knowledge of Kolla-Ansible or Kubernetes

- HA design and cloud capacity planning experience

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
