Job Responsibilities:
- OpenShift Virtualization: Install, maintain, and operate OpenShift Virtualization environments.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve OpenShift-related issues to ensure high availability and performance.
- IT Process Management: Follow ITIL-based processes for incident, change, and problem management.
- Windows Server Management: Handle patching and administration of Windows servers.
- Networking: Apply strong understanding of networking principles to support infrastructure.
- Storage Management: Manage storage systems and OpenShift storage configurations (PV, PVC).
- Bare Metal Servers: Perform installation, rack/stack, and decommissioning of servers (e.g., DELL, HP ProLiant).
- VM Management: Deploy, operate, migrate (V2V, P2V), and decommission virtual machines in OpenShift and VMware.
- Shift Flexibility: Provide 24/7 support through rotational and night shifts.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of configurations, systems, and operational procedures.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional IT teams to ensure seamless operations.
- Monitoring: Use Prometheus and Grafana for proactive system and security monitoring.
