OpenShift Platform Engineer

Description

We are looking for an experienced OpenShift Platform Engineer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing containerized applications and will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of OpenShift clusters.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage OpenShift clusters in production environments.
• Automate deployment and management of applications on OpenShift using CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor and troubleshoot OpenShift environments for performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure application compatibility with OpenShift.
• Implement security best practices within the OpenShift platform.
• Provide technical support and guidance for issues related to OpenShift.

Skills and Qualifications

• 8-10 years of experience in deploying and managing OpenShift or Kubernetes environments.
• Strong understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies.
• Proficient in Linux/Unix system administration.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their integration with OpenShift.
• Familiarity with networking concepts and security protocols in cloud environments.
• Strong scripting skills in languages such as Bash, Python, or Go.
