Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct prior art searches and patent landscape analysis in the field of chemistry.
- Assist in the preparation and review of invention disclosures, patent specifications, and technical documents.
- Coordinate with R&D teams to understand inventions and assess their patentability.
- Support in tracking patent filing timelines, deadlines, and renewals.
- Maintain IP databases and records in compliance with internal and legal standards.
- Stay updated on developments in patent law, WIPO/PCT, and national patent offices.
- Provide assistance in drafting responses to patent office actions under supervision.
- Strong academic background in Chemistry (M.Sc.)
- Excellent analytical and research skills
- Ability to interpret scientific data and technical literature
- Basic knowledge of patents and intellectual property concepts (training will be provided)
- Good communication and technical writing skills
- Knowledge in MS Office Suite and familiarity with patent databases
