Description
We are seeking an experienced AR Caller for our Ophthalmology practice in India. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing accounts receivable, following up on outstanding claims, and ensuring timely payments from insurance providers and patients.
Responsibilities
- Manage and follow up on accounts receivable for ophthalmology services.
- Communicate with insurance companies to ensure timely payment of claims.
- Review and appeal denied claims as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of patient accounts and payments.
- Collaborate with the billing team to resolve discrepancies and issues.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and providers regarding account inquiries.
Skills and Qualifications
- 1-5 years of experience in accounts receivable or medical billing, preferably in an ophthalmology setting.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and insurance processes.
- Proficiency in billing software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
