Job Description

Job Title: Sales Executive / Sales Manager

Department: Sales & Marketing

Industry: Hotel / Hospitality

Job Summary:

Responsible for generating revenue by promoting hotel rooms, banquet facilities, and other services. The role involves building client relationships, identifying business opportunities, and achieving sales targets through corporate, travel agents, and event business.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets
Identify and acquire new corporate clients, travel agents, and business partners
Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business
Promote hotel rooms, banquet halls, conferences, and F&B services
Conduct sales calls, client meetings, and site visits
Handle group bookings, events, and corporate tie-ups
Prepare and present proposals, contracts, and rate agreements
Coordinate with operations (Front Office, F&B, Housekeeping) for smooth service delivery
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies
Attend networking events, exhibitions, and trade shows
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports

Key Skills & Competencies:

Strong communication and negotiation skills
Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building abilities
Target-driven and result-oriented mindset
Good knowledge of hotel operations and hospitality services
Proficiency in MS Office and hotel management software
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
Prior experience in hotel sales (1–5 years depending on role) preferred

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

Revenue generation (room sales, banquet sales, etc.)
Occupancy rate contribution
Number of new accounts acquired
Client retention rate
Conversion ratio of leads to bookings
