About The Opportunity
Healthcare Primary care and outpatient services sector. We operate an on-site community clinic network delivering OPD, urgent care triage, diagnostic coordination and preventive health services to semi-urban and rural populations in Uttar Pradesh.
We are hiring an MBBS-qualified OPD Medical Officer / RMO to be based in Sant Kabir Nagar (On-site). This role is ideal for committed clinicians who deliver safe, evidence-based outpatient care, manage acute presentations, and ensure continuity for follow-up patients.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive OPD care: evaluate, diagnose and manage common acute and chronic illnesses across adult and pediatric patients.
- Triage and stabilise emergency or urgent cases arriving at the OPD; initiate lifesaving measures and arrange timely referrals to higher centres when required.
- Perform minor surgical procedures and wound care (suturing, dressing changes, abscess drainage) and manage basic orthopaedic immobilisation.
- Prescribe and manage medications according to standard treatment protocols; review drug interactions and ensure rational use of antibiotics.
- Maintain accurate, legible medical records and use EMR/HIMS for documentation, test ordering and follow-up tracking.
- Coordinate with laboratory and radiology teams, counsel patients on diagnosis and treatment plans, and support preventive health initiatives (immunisation, screening).
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- MBBS degree with valid medical registration for practice in India.
- Experience working as an OPD Medical Officer or RMO in a clinic, hospital OPD or primary care setting.
- Proven competency in emergency triage and basic lifesupport measures.
- Ability to perform minor surgical procedures and wound management.
- Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) or Hospital Information Management Systems.
- Clear clinical documentation and outpatient case management skills.
Preferred
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
- Prior experience serving rural or semiurban patient populations.
- Exposure to public health or primary care programmes (immunisation, NCD screening).
