Codeyoung delivers coding courses tailored for kids aged 5 to 17, focusing on creating an engaging, hands-on curriculum with clear and structured learning goals. Unlike traditional teaching models, the sessions are designed to be interactive and student-centric, encouraging active participation and creativity. Codeyoung empowers young learners to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills, making coding an enjoyable and educational experience.

This is a part-time remote role for an Online Tutor specializing in Web Development for the UK shift. The tutor will be responsible for conducting virtual coding classes, designing lesson plans, and guiding students through web development concepts such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. This role also involves fostering an interactive and inclusive online learning environment, assessing students progress, and providing constructive feedback to enhance their understanding.

• Proficiency in Web Development technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience in teaching, mentoring, or tutoring with a focus on student-centric learning
• Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively engage with students
• Ability to prepare lesson plans and adapt teaching methods to suit various age groups
• Creative problem-solving and analytical skills for explaining coding concepts
• Prior experience in online teaching or working in an education technology environment is a plus
• Availability to work remotely during UK time zones
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields is preferred
