Job Description:
- Job Title: Online Mathematics Tutor (US-Based Students)
- Pay: 1000 per hour session. (Scheduled Sessions)
- Location: 100% Remote.
- Schedule: Flexible! Choose hours between 7 PM and 3 AM IST.
- Commitment: Min 3 hours/day-Max 8 hours/day.
- Job Type: Freelance/Part-Time
- Mode of Sessions - Sessions will be both Audio/Video and chat based.
Job Overview:
As a tutor, you'll deliver engaging tutoring sessions using audio/video and chat formats, develop lesson plans, and assist students at the Elementary and Middle School levels (3rd-8th Grade). This is a remote, flexible role with a focus on effective communication and personalized teaching methods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct interactive audio/video and chat-based tutoring sessions.
- Create lesson plans and assessments tailored to each student's needs.
- Help students understand mathematical concepts clearly.
- Adapt teaching methods based on the student's learning style.
- Offer problem-solving strategies and reinforce mathematical concepts.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong verbal communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in Mathematics (Elementary to High School levels).
- Ability to design structured lesson plans and assessments.
- Comfort with online tutoring platforms and technology.
- Prior teaching/tutoring experience is an advantage.
Selection Process:
- Online Test Minimum passing score: 70%.
- Skype Interview To evaluate communication skills and teaching approach.
