Role Description

This is a part-time remote role for an online tutor. The Online Tutor will be responsible for delivering engaging virtual lessons, preparing and customising lesson plans, assisting students in understanding subject material, and evaluating their progress. The role requires effective communication with students to foster learning and promote academic growth. Tutors must also provide feedback and adapt teaching strategies to cater to individual learning styles.

Qualifications

• Strong subject expertise in the area(s) of teaching, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, and experience working with students of diverse backgrounds
• Experience with online teaching platforms and tools, as well as virtual classroom management
• Lesson preparation, assessment, and tutoring strategies to support personalized learning and track progress
• Patience, empathy, and adaptability to address diverse learning needs
• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field, or equivalent professional experience
• Prior experience in tutoring, teaching, or education is advantageous
• Subjects Preferred: English, Maths Science (PCB), Economics, Business Studies
• Graduations is a must.
