Online Revenue Planner

Role Summary

The Online Revenue Planner is responsible for driving digital revenue growth through data-driven planning, forecasting, and optimization of online monetization channels. The role partners closely with marketing, sales, product, and finance teams to maximize revenue performance across digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Revenue Planning & Forecasting

  • Develop short-term and long-term online revenue forecasts
  • Build revenue models based on traffic, conversion, pricing, and yield assumptions
  • Track actuals vs. plan and identify gaps, risks, and opportunities

Performance Analysis & Optimization

  • Monitor daily/weekly/monthly revenue performance across digital channels
  • Analyse KPIs such as traffic, conversion rate, ARPU, yield, CAC, and LTV
  • Recommend actions to improve monetization efficiency and ROI

Channel & Monetization Strategy

  • Support revenue planning for channels such as paid media, organic, affiliates, partnerships, and direct sales
  • Optimize pricing, promotions, inventory, and campaign mix
  • Collaborate with product and marketing teams on monetization initiatives

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Work with Sales, Marketing, Product, Finance, and Data teams to align revenue goals
  • Prepare revenue reports and dashboards for leadership
  • Support quarterly and annual business planning cycles

Market & Trend Insights

  • Track industry trends, competitor performance, and market benchmarks
  • Identify new revenue opportunities and growth levers

Key Skills & Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or related field
  • 26+ years of experience in revenue planning, digital analytics, or commercial roles
  • Strong analytical and financial modelling skills
  • Advanced Excel / Google Sheets proficiency
  • Experience with analytics tools (GA, Adobe, BI tools, SQL preferred)

Preferred

  • Experience in e-commerce, digital media, SaaS, or online marketplaces
  • Knowledge of digital marketing metrics and attribution models
  • Familiarity with forecasting tools and dashboards
