Online Remote English Tutor for US Students| Grades K-12

About the role

Ruvimo is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Online English Tutor to join our dynamic team. As an Online English Tutor, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality educational support to students, helping them excel in ELA, Literature. This is a part-time role based for tutors based in Philippines, allowing you to work flexibly and around your other commitments.

What you'll be doing

• Developing and delivering engaging, interactive online math lessons to k12 students based in the US.
• Assessing students strengths, weaknesses and learning needs to tailor your approach and provide personalised support
• Monitoring student progress, providing timely feedback and adjusting lesson plans accordingly
• Collaborating with parents and guardians to ensure a cohesive learning experience for students
• Maintaining detailed records of student progress and lesson plans
• Participating in regular training and development opportunities to stay up-to-date with the latest teaching methodologies and technologies

What we're looking for

• A bachelor's degree in Literature, English, Education or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a English Tutor online
• Excellent knowledge of ELA, grammer concepts and the ability to explain them clearly and effectively
• Strong English communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students
• Proficiency in using online teaching platforms and technologies
• Patience, creativity and a genuine passion for helping students succeed
• Flexible and adaptable approach to accommodate the needs of diverse learners
