Role Description

This is a part-time, remote role for an Online Python Tutor aligned with the US time zone (2:30 am to 7:30am). The tutor will be responsible for delivering engaging and interactive online Python programming lessons to students aged 5 to 17. Key responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, teaching coding concepts effectively, evaluating student performance, and providing constructive feedback for improvement. The role also involves adapting teaching strategies to meet the needs of individual learners.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python, along with a strong foundation in programming concepts and logical reasoning
• Excellent teaching, communication, and presentation skills, particularly for young learners
• Ability to plan lessons and create an engaging and interactive learning environment
• Experience in online teaching platforms or virtual classroom tools
• Patience, adaptability, and enthusiasm for working with children
• Prior tutoring experience, especially in Python or coding, is preferred
• Availability to work during US time zones
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Education, or a related field is a plus
