Role Description

This is a part-time remote role for an Online Coding Tutor, working during US shifts. The tutor will teach coding classes to young learners, following Codeyoung's interactive and student-focused curriculum. Responsibilities include lesson planning, delivering engaging and personalized instruction, providing guidance to students, and ensuring a supportive learning atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in coding languages such as Python, Java, or Scratch
• Experience in online teaching or delivering virtual lessons
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with young learners
• Ability to adapt teaching methods based on individual student needs
• Familiarity with tech tools for virtual classrooms
• Passion for education and inspiring students in technology
• Prior experience in teaching, mentoring, or tutoring children is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Education, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Ability to work in a night shift from 2:30 am to 7:30 am (US Timings) .
