AP Tutors is a niche tutoring group. We specialize in providing one-on-one tutoring sessions and intensive problem-solving Bootcamps for high school and college students in math and sciences. Our focus is on preparing students for international board exams and college preparatory exams.

Role Description

This is a part-time remote role for an Online Tutor for Biology. The Online Tutor will be responsible for conducting online tutoring sessions, facilitating communication with students, teaching Biology concepts, and providing guidance in preparation for tests. Please note that this role will be teaching international students for the AP curriculum. So, you must be highly proficient in spoken English. All lectures are to be conducted in English.

Qualifications

• Experience in online tutoring and teaching Biology (8th 9th -10th Grade level)
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong knowledge and expertise in Biology (special preference will be given to teachers if they can also teach Chemistry at 8th -9th -10th-grade level)
• Ability to create engaging and interactive learning materials
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• A Master's or a Ph.D. degree in Biology is a requirement
• Experience with AP exams and curriculum is a plus

Work Hours

Work hours are early morning, 4:30 am - 8:30 am IST. Each session is for one hour. You can choose to take one session or multiple sessions. So, there is some flexibility in the timing.

The hourly session rates vary between 650 - 850 INR per hour, depending on your experience with the AP curriculum.
