An Online Bidder (at least 2yrs exp.) is responsible for generating business by identifying and bidding on projects via freelancing platforms like Upwork, Freelancer and Fiverr.
Key Responsibilities:
- Platform Management: Actively bid on projects daily on platforms like Upwork, Guru, Freelancer.com and PeoplePerHour.
- Proposal Writing: Craft customized, compelling proposals that clearly explain how the company can solve the client's problem.
- Client Interaction: Communicate with prospective clients via email, chat or voice calls to understand requirements and project scope.
- Lead Generation & Conversion: Identify potential projects and convert them into successful sales.
- Pricing & Negotiation: Assist in estimating project costs and negotiating rates to close deals.
- Record Keeping: Maintain a detailed log of all bidding activities, bids submitted, and outcomes.
Required Skills for Freshers:
- Excellent Communication: Strong written and verbal English skills are crucial for international client interaction.
- Proposal Writing: Ability to write persuasive, professional and grammatically correct proposals.
- Basic Technical Knowledge: Understanding of IT, web development or design terminology (depending on the company).
- Sales Target Orientation: Ability to work under pressure and meet daily or monthly bidding/revenue targets.
- Good Research Skills: Ability to quickly analyze client requirements.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: BCA in Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or a related field.
- Experience: Experienced candidates are preferred.
