Job Description: Onboarding Manager(OBM)
Role Overview
As an Onboarding Manager (OBM), you will be responsible for expanding and strengthening
the restaurant supply ecosystem across your assigned city or region. You will lead
high-impact onboarding initiatives, ensure strong supply quality versus competition, onboard
premium and high-potential brands, and build a high-performing onboarding team.
This role sits at the intersection of supply growth, quality, and execution excellence, and
directly impacts customer choice, marketplace competitiveness, and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Supply Growth & Competitive Parity
. Identify and close supply gaps versus competition at city and zone levels. . Ensure strong availability and parity of restaurants across key areas. . Track performance metrics and implement corrective actions to improve supply depth and quality. . Work closely with city and regional stakeholders to maintain a competitive marketplace.
2. High-Priority & Strategic Onboarding
. Identify and onboard high-impact restaurants, including: . Popular local brands . Premium and niche cuisine brands . High-demand or high-visibility outlets . Lead onboarding efforts for priority categories and strategic supply initiatives. . Drive closures through structured follow-ups and stakeholder coordination.
3. New Partner Success (Early Lifecycle Growth)
. Ensure newly onboarded partners meet basic hygiene standards, including: Availability and operational readiness, Menu quality (images, descriptions, combos), Coverage across relevant slots and delivery areas . Support early growth by enabling both organic levers (catalog, operations) and inorganic levers (promotions, ads, visibility tools). . Track performance of new partners and ensure smooth handover to account management teams.
4. Reactivation & Supply Recovery
. Reactivate churned or inactive restaurants in priority areas. . Work with support and operations teams to remove reactivation bottlenecks. . Drive month-on-month improvement in reactivated supply.
5. Lead Sourcing & Onboarding Projects
. Source restaurant leads through multiple channels such as market scans, referrals, data insights, and local intelligence. . Own onboarding projects focused on improving supply quality and data accuracy. . Build smarter, scalable methods to prioritize and onboard the right supply first.
6. Team & Stakeholder Management
. Hire, coach, and manage a team of onboarding executives. . Drive performance, accountability, and skill development within the team. . Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including sales, operations, quality, and city leadership. . Run regular reviews to track progress, risks, and outcomes.
What We're Looking For
Experience & Skills
. 4-8 years of experience in sales, business development, operations, or supply growth roles.
. Prior experience managing field teams or frontline execution is strongly preferred.
. Strong ability to work with data, metrics, and performance dashboards.
