The Opportunity:

Manage operation of the Onboarding Service line in BGL Center for SEA, MEA, NEA & NAM. Accountable for delivering high quality, timely customer service to the supported clients and against agreed targets in the respective service areas (Onboarding & New joiner experience). Drive the people management strategy and ensure controls and compliance to manage any operational, financial, and reputational risks. Drive cost optimization, efficiencies, Quality & Business expansion.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for all deliverables supported by BGL Center Employee life cycle management team.

  • Ensure data accuracy, compliance, and audit readiness through structured governance and periodic reviews. Manage audit requirements, risk identification, and mitigation plans for HR processes.

  • Structure, implement, stabilize all the current transformation initiatives at HR operations onboarding level.

  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards.

  • Stay current with industry trends and HR technology advancements.

  • Lead projects related to system upgrades, automation, and digital transformation. Continuously enhance service delivery through innovation and best practices.

  • Deliver tasks through direct reports with a span of 20-25 team members (including Team leads & Deputy Team leads) and ensure adherence to timeline, quality and KPIs

  • Ownership of span career path, succession planning and performance management - Focuses on enhancing technical & personal effectiveness through training, education, and coaching

  • Ensure job rotation of colleagues to facilitate learning

  • Manage and own stakeholder relationships and acts as point of escalation for projects

  • Identify and promote job exchange opportunities outside of Service Line

  • Business Development - showcase center capabilities across organization, source new opportunities for center utilization

  • Drive operational efficiencies through quality, technology, automation, and standardization initiatives

  • Responsible for efficient resource allocation, capacity, and budget utilization to ensure profitable delivery

  • Work closely with center Lead to track critical financial and operational metrics with a view to meet unit objectives and drive operational excellence.

  • Leverage best practices followed in other CSS groups and service lines across the globe and introduce the same for the team.

  • Risk Analysis and mitigation - Understanding of high impact risks, develop mitigation plans and governance

  • Succession planning for critical roles

  • Training needs assessment for wider team

  • Collaborate with support functions to drive initiatives

Your Background:

  • Bachelor's / Post Graduate degree and/or equivalent with 12- 15 years of work

  • Hands on experience on the HR Operations onboarding, New joiners experience, Employee Life Cycle Management, project management and closely worked with management to drive initiatives and management activities across.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication skills

  • Proven multi stakeholder management experience

  • Strong Project Management experience

  • Adaptability to a changing and high growth environment

  • Acumen to increase delivery depth and quality.

  • Client management/ relationship management

  • Ability to understand end consulting solution

  • Data Analysis - Engagement Content

  • Coaching/ Mentoring - Expertise

  • Team Management Skills

  • Proficiency with MS Office, MS Excel Advanced, MS Word, PowerPoint & Workday

  • Leverage technology to bring efficiencies and improve quality

  • Contribute to improving technology solutions and its application

  • Identify new technology & tool requirements and acquire/ develop process knowledge
