OnBase Administrator

We are seeking an experienced OnBase Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize our OnBase Enterprise Content Management (ECM) platform, with a strong focus on integration with Epic EHR systems. This role is critical to ensuring seamless document management, workflow automation, and data exchange between OnBase and Epic to support clinical and administrative operations.

Work You'll Do:

• Administer, configure, and maintain the OnBase platform, including Workflows, Unity Forms, Document Retrieval, and HL7 modules
• Design, build, and support integrations between OnBase and Epic (e.g., Media Manager scanning, Document retrieval etc.)
• Manage user access provisioning, security groups, and role-based permissions within OnBase
• Collaborate with Epic application teams (HIM, Ambulatory etc.) to ensure alignment of integration touchpoints and data integrity
• Develop and maintain workflows, business processes, and configuration changes to support evolving operational needs
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring minimal downtime and rapid root-cause resolution
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including configuration guides, workflow diagrams, and support runbooks
• Partner with clinical and business stakeholders to gather requirements and design scalable OnBase solutions that integrate seamlessly with Epic and associated interfaces.
• Support testing efforts (unit, integration, UAT) for new builds, upgrades, and change requests
• Participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support for critical system issues as needed.

Must Have Skills

• 3 - 5 years of hands-on experience administering OnBase (Hyland) ECM platform.
• Demonstrated experience integrating OnBase with Epic.
• Strong understanding of OnBase Workflows, Unity Client, and Configuration modules.
• Experience with configuring different import processes within OnBase.
• Solid understanding of healthcare data standards and interoperability concepts (HL7, APIs, etc.)
• Experience with access/security administration, including provisioning and role-based access control
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills in a production support environment
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Good To Have Skills

• OnBase certification(s) considered an added advantage
• Experience with change management processes and ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow)
• Prior experience supporting OnBase within a healthcare environment
• Familiarity with WorkView and Unity Scripts considered an added advantage
• Prior experience participating in OnBase upgrade activities Addition Input from Business Side.

Okay, so this is USI, any seven USI locations on OK. The project timings would be 2 P.m. to 11 P.m. IST. Hybrid expected to come to office twice a week. Those are the basic.

Expectations. Coming to a skill standpoint, we are looking for Highland on base. So this is this comes under ECM platform, content management platform, with preferably someone where they understand the integration with Epic platforms. Right, so we already have a couple of folks here, but then it is not a very active.
