About the role

You will be the face and operator of The Trost offline. Your primary job is to make our stores run smoothly and bring them to life through events and activations. Your secondary job is to liaison with franchise partnerships.

Primary responsibilities: activations and store operations

  • In-store events and activations: Plan and execute events such as launches, wellness sessions, sampling drives, community meets and festive campaigns.
  • Store team management: Manage and motivate store staff. Set daily and weekly targets, run briefings, and coach on product knowledge, customer conversations and compliant selling
  • Store operations: Keep every store operational and consistent. This covers opening and closing routines, stock availability and replenishment coordination, visual merchandising, cleanliness, POS and billing accuracy, and vendor and maintenance follow-ups.
  • Performance tracking: Monitor footfall, conversion, average bill value, sales vs. target and event ROI. Flag issues early and fix them.
  • Customer experience: Make sure every store visit reflects the premium Trost brand. Handle escalations and gather customer feedback for the brand and product teams.
  • Coordination: Work with the marketing, supply chain and finance teams so events, stock and promotions are aligned with what stores actually need.

Secondary responsibilities: franchise business development

  • Identify, pitch and qualify prospective franchise partners
  • Support the franchise sales pipeline: enquiries, meetings, store visits, proposals and follow-ups
  • Maintain a simple franchise lead tracker and report on pipeline status
  • Represent The Trost with franchise partners and support the early operation of new franchise stores

What we're looking for

  • 2+ years of experience in retail operations, field marketing, experiential/events or store management (wellness, beauty, FMCG, D2C or premium retail preferred)
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate store teams
  • Experience organizing events or activations end to end
  • Comfort with numbers: sales targets, budgets, MIS and basic reporting
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. You can sell the brand to customers, partners and prospective franchisees.
  • Highly organized, hands-on and calm under operational pressure
  • Willingness to travel between stores and event locations
  • Fluency in English and Hindi; [local language, e.g. Kannada] is a plus

Good to have

  • Prior exposure to franchise or channel-partner development
  • Familiarity with POS/inventory tools
