Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an O&M Engineer at Suzlon Wind Energy Ltd located in Jaisalmer. The O&M Engineer will be responsible for maintaining, inspecting, and troubleshooting wind turbines to ensure optimal performance. Day-to-day tasks include conducting routine inspections, managing equipment repairs, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards. The role also involves collaborating with the technical team to optimize turbine functionality and minimize downtime.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of electrical systems, mechanical systems, and hydraulic systems
- Experience in troubleshooting, maintenance, and operational problem-solving
- Ability to handle safety protocols and risk assessment practices
- Strong communication and technical documentation skills
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools
- Ability to work in challenging environments and at heights
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Renewable Energy Engineering preferred
- Prior experience in the wind energy sector or renewable energy industry is advantageous
