Passionate about impacting companies Energized by helping clients overcome challenging problems Join Veritas, a Business of Oliver Wyman specializing in Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM), as a Consultant with 2+ years of experience in Enuit ENTRADE across application development, implementation, enhancement, integration, or production support. The ideal candidate will combine strong C#/.NET and SQL capability with a practical understanding of commodity-trading processes and ENTRADE application architecture.

In this role, you'll work with multidisciplinary teams to help energy and commodity trading organizations solve complex business and technology challenges, shaping scalable solutions across trading, risk, operations, data, and technology. You Bring:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Technology, Business Management, Finance, or related discipline. Equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
  • 2+ years of relevant professional experience in ETRM/CTRM application development, technical consulting, implementation, integration, customization, or application support.
  • Hands-on working experience with Enuit's ENTRADE platform in an implementation, development, enhancement, integration, or production-support capacity.

Consulting Skills

  • Strong structured problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down business and technical issues and identify practical solutions.
  • Clear written and verbal communication, including the ability to explain technical issues to functional and business stakeholders.
  • Ability to work directly with client users and technical teams during analysis, testing, defect resolution, and production support.
  • Strong ownership and follow-through, particularly in time-sensitive delivery and production-support situations.
  • Ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams, including functional consultants, developers, architects, data engineers, testers, and client stakeholders.

Functional Knowledge

  • Understanding the end-to-end energy and commodity trading lifecycle across front, middle, and back office.
  • Working knowledge of core ETRM processes, including trade capture, positions, valuation, P&L, risk, scheduling/logistics, settlements, invoicing, and accounting.
  • Experience supporting ETRM configuration, customization, enhancements, and integrations, with the ability to translate business requirements into system changes.
  • Experience troubleshooting functional and production issues, including defect investigation, reconciliation, data issues, interface failures, batch-processing issues, and reporting discrepancies.
  • Experience supporting testing and production readiness, including unit, functional, integration, regression and UAT execution, deployment validation, and post-release stabilization.

Application Knowledge

  • Strong hands-on experience with Enuit ENTRADE across implementation, enhancement, integration, customization, or production support.
  • Understanding of ENTRADE functional modules, workflows, configuration, and business processes, with the ability to investigate issues across the trade lifecycle.
  • Understanding of ENTRADE application architecture, data structures, interfaces, and technical extension points.
  • Experience configuring, extending, and supporting ENTRADE components, including custom developments, integrations, reports, interfaces, and workflows.
  • Ability to diagnose issues across ENTRADE and connected applications, working across functional configuration, custom code, data, interfaces, and downstream systems.

Technical Skills

  • Strong hands-on C#/.NET development capability, including debugging, enhancement, defect resolution, and maintenance of custom ENTRADE components.
  • Strong SQL and relational database skills, including data analysis, stored procedures, data modelling, reconciliation, and investigation of ETRM data issues.
  • Experience developing and supporting application integrations, including REST APIs, web services, batch interfaces, file-based integrations, and data exchanges.
  • Experience with frontend/application technologies, including React.js and/or Windows-based technologies such as WPF, WinForms, or XAML.
  • Working knowledge of modern software delivery practices, including Git/source control, CI/CD, automated testing, release management, deployment processes, and basic cloud/DevOps concepts.
