The BBN system architecture team defines e2e architecture solution from hardware, OLTs and controllers . The architecture team also reviews and proposes solution for critical issues and features and defines architecture for cost saving, energe optimization , autonomous networks and aligns architecture with the vision. This role is for a similar role focussin in the area of optical LAN

How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn

  • Defining the E2E architecture solution for optical LAN requirements
  • Ownership of complex component SW architecture.
  • Ownership of test strategy for own Tribe items.
  • Defining and Reviewing the HW/SW Architecture Squads deliverables.
  • Coaching and training HW/SW Architecture squads individual contributors.

Key Skills And Experience

  • Experience in access technologies, fiber: gpon/xpon/, layer 2, layer 3 services and protocols
  • Experience in network management solutions and protocols like Netconf/Yang, IPFIX, GNMI
  • Experience in defining e2e architecture for products and software solutions
  • Cloud expertise - Virtualization and Cloud certifications
  • Understanding of micro-service based architecture and cloud native architecture principles, practical experience with and knowledge of S based architectures and deployment of these applications in public cloud environments
