Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Okta Engineer with 7–9 years of experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM). The ideal candidate will be responsible for advanced Okta administration, identity lifecycle management, enterprise application integrations, security policy enforcement, and automation. The role requires strong expertise in designing secure IAM solutions, troubleshooting complex issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure secure and efficient identity management across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Identity & Access Management
- Manage P3 and above identity operations, including user lifecycle management and onboarding.
- Implement and maintain Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and Segregation of Duties (SoD).
- Configure and enforce IAM policies across enterprise applications and infrastructure.
Integration & Architecture
- Perform Single Sign-On (SSO) and provisioning integrations for enterprise applications.
- Design and enhance Okta architecture, including custom workflows, connectors, and integrations.
- Coordinate with vendors for issue resolution, upgrades, patching, and optimization.
Governance & Compliance
- Monitor and troubleshoot IGA workflows and customize IGA/PAM connectors.
- Execute access certification campaigns and manage certification processes.
- Perform security hardening, compliance validation, and vulnerability remediation.
Operational Excellence
- Handle advanced service requests and application access beyond Level 1 support.
- Generate reports, perform audit analysis, and monitor PAM session logs.
- Lead incident and problem management, including root cause analysis.
- Automate repetitive operational tasks to improve efficiency.
Collaboration & Support
- Work closely with application, infrastructure, and security teams.
- Provide outage support and assist in resolving complex production issues.
Advanced Functions
- Implement Okta workflow enhancements and IGA/PAM customizations.
- Manage identity integrations and advanced authentication mechanisms.
Must Have Skills
- Strong expertise in Okta Identity Cloud, SSO, IGA, and PAM solutions.
- Hands-on experience with workflow automation, custom connector development, and policy enforcement.
- Knowledge of security compliance frameworks and risk management.
- Ability to perform root cause analysis, incident resolution, and vendor coordination.
