Job Description Offshore Data Integration QA (SFMC / IICS / Veeva)
We are seeking a highly skilled QA Engineer with strong expertise in ETL, APIs, and data validation to support end-to-end testing of marketing data integrations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), Informatica IICS, Veeva Vault, and API-based workflows, ensuring accuracy and reliability across complex data pipelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Validate end-to-end data workflows from web forms IICS APIs Veeva Vault Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Perform API mapping, testing, and data verification using Postman and automation scripts.
- Execute ETL QA for data ingestion, transformation, and synchronization processes.
- Develop and execute SQL queries to perform data reconciliation and validation across multiple environments.
- Test data integration between Veeva Vault objects (e.g., CRM-like entities) and downstream marketing systems.
- Ensure data consistency, completeness, and accuracy across all stages of the integration flow.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to identify issues, define test strategies, and validate fixes.
- Maintain and execute regression, smoke, and performance test cases as part of deployment cycles.
- Document testing processes, data mappings, and test outcomes clearly for audit and compliance.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong SQL expertise writing complex joins, transformations, and data validation queries.
- Proven experience in ETL testing, especially with Informatica IICS or similar tools.
- Solid understanding of REST APIs and hands-on experience with Postman for API QA.
- Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) data structures (Data Extensions, Journeys, Automations).
- Familiarity with Veeva Vault or CRM-like systems for object and metadata validation.
- Deep knowledge of data flow design, API payloads, and data synchronization testing.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities across technical and business teams.
Nice to Have
- Experience with ETL tools like Talend, SSIS, or DataStage.
- Familiarity with Salesforce SOQL and Redshift/PostgreSQL.
- Exposure to marketing data models or pharma/healthcare ecosystems.
- Experience in automating API/ETL validation or using QA management tools (QASE, HP ALM, etc.).
