Job Description

Warehouse Operations

Coordinate receipt of raw materials, packing materials, intermediates, and finished goods as per approved procedures.
Ensure physical verification, GRN preparation, and system entries (SAP/WMS) for all incoming materials.
Manage storage conditions as per material-specific requirements (temperature, humidity, segregation).

GMP & Compliance

Strict adherence to cGMP, GDP, and internal SOPs.
Ensure labeling, status identification (Quarantine / Approved / Rejected) of materials.
Maintain complete and accurate warehouse documentation for audits and inspections.
Support internal, customer, and regulatory audits (WHO, USFDA, EU, etc.).

Inventory Management

Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimum stock maintenance.
Conduct cycle counts, monthly and annual physical inventory; reconcile variances with documentation.
Track expiry management and coordinate timely disposition of near‑expiry / expired materials.

Dispensing & Issuance

Ensure controlled and error‑free dispensing of raw materials as per BMR/BPR.
Cross‑verify material codes, batch numbers, quantities, and status before issuance to production.

System & Documentation

Perform SAP/WMS transactions (GRN, GI, transfer postings, batch tracking).
Maintain logs, registers, and electronic records in compliance with data integrity requirements (ALCOA+).

Coordination & Safety

Coordinate with Production, QA, QC, Purchase, and Planning teams.
Ensure compliance with EHS guidelines, including safe material handling
Support implementation of continuous improvement initiatives in warehouse operations.
