Supporting Actions
Security Of Plant, TPP, Mines & Township
Ensure security arrangements in plant, mines, TPP & township area to safeguard unit's assets & employees.
- Everyday deployment check of security manpower at plant, TPP,mines & township.
- Preparation of Shift schedule
- Enusre timely submisiion of security agencies bills
- Implement initiatives to avoid Fire incidents inside the Plant.
- Practice fire fighting drills through regular exercises, mock drills, wet drills and train security staff in their actions as part of the Unit Disaster Management Plan.
- Also ensure maintenance of Fire Fighting equipment and it's timely demonstration to prevent/ minimize losses due to fire.
- Monitor timely payments of ESI/PF of the guards by the Security Agency.
Activities Related To Security Guards
- Proper attendance accounting of security guards
- Maintain Discipline of security guards
- Ensure maintanance and upkeeping hygiene of security barracks
- Ensure orientation to new security guards on the geography of plant.
- Timely organizing of trainings by the Security agency
Liaison Activities
- Build relationships with Govt. Officials at various locations so as to ensure seamless services at plant & township.
- Local Police at various destinations so as to maintain peaceful law and order situation.
- Build relationships with surrounding village elders/opinion makers.
- Idnetify the key people in the nearby vicinity.
Intelligence Information
- Gather informations on activities within the plant and outside. Keep constant vigil on worker activities and the unruly elements.
- Ensuring procedures like Night Vigilance Duty (NVD), CCTV, MIS, etc.
- Coordinate with ER Team at plant & mines during exegencies.
- Keep vigilance on Labour huts
Implementation of Safety Systems at Unit
- Ensure zero fatalities, personal injuries, and motor vehicle accidents on the job.
- Participate in all incident investigations and implement recommended corrective actions.
- Drive visible safety improvements through Visual Felt Leadership (VFL) practices.
- Report near misses (NM) as per unit targets and maintain compliance with all safety standards.
- Implement road safety and fire risk management measures to prevent L1, L2, and L3 level findings
